Born in North Carolina, David lived briefly in Indiana and Alaska before moving to Southern California, his home for over fifty years. David currently resides in Long Beach with his wife, Kim, and their dog, Annie. He is a life-long artist who enjoys painting the outdoors, especially the places he has visited. David crafts many of his own art frames from hardwood.  His love of nature, from the desert to the sea, is reflected in his artwork.

In addition to painting, David enjoys hiking the local environs and exploring the deserts and mountains of Southern California.
